Turismo Comunitário - Criativo: uma descrição da operacionalização de pesquisa na região do Algarve de 2017 – 2019

Abstract

Portugal vive um processo de ‘desertificação’ populacional que leva ao isolamento e pobreza. O que o turismo pode fazer é a resposta de uma pesquisa no Algarve de 2017 – 2019, cujo objetivo foi “analisar em áreas tradicionais rurais ou com características, se o turismo comunitário – criativo associado a atividades dinamizadoras de estímulos a preservação cultural e ambiental, contribui para a diminuição do êxodo populacional e o desenvolvimento local†Este artigo descreve e discute como ocorreu o processo investigativo e seus resultados. O mesmo foi com base no contexto interpretativo-etnográfico de Geertz com: coleta bibliográfica e documental; trabalho de campo (entrevistas + observação) em aldeias e vilas do Algarve; análise interpretativa. Os resultados apontam via interpretação etnográfica como o processo comunitário criativo, através do saber – fazer de seus moradores, levam a exposições e interações criativas que trazem novos panoramas para residentes e turistas. O turismo nestas localidades, propõe ações éticas colaborativas sustentáveis que inclusive atendem aos ODS da Agenda 2030 das Nações Unidas.
