Potencialidad del turismo de naturaleza en el Cantón Bolívar, Provincia de Manabí, Ecuador

Abstract

El turismo constituye una de las actividades de redistribución de la riqueza más efectivas. Las tendencias mundiales se encuentran enfocadas en el turismo de naturaleza; para ello, el desarrollo de esta actividad debe ser planificado y sostenible permitiendo la conservación del espacio prístino, el empoderamiento de la cultura rural y el aprovechamiento de la geografía del territorio para la innovación de servicios turísticos. El presente trabajo se centra en la identificación de la potencialidad turística en el cantón Bolívar provincia de Manabí; para lograr este objetivo, se aplicó un estudio exploratorio, descriptivo y explicativo. Se identificaron características sociales, económicas, culturales y productivas, actores principales, secundarios y se generó el FODA para establecer los elementos que influyen en esta actividad. Los resultados de esta investigación fueron determinantes en establecer que el Turismo de Naturaleza es una alternativa que complementa las actividades productivas del territorio; siendo factibles el agroturismo, ecoturismo y turismo de aventura.
