Turismo acessível: inclusão social, acessibilidade e cidadania

Abstract

Este estudo aborda a acessibilidade e a inclusão para as pessoas com deficiência no Brasil considerando o turismo acessível como uma necessidade para a efetivação da cidadania plena. Debater tais temas é de grande relevância social pois contribuem para a eliminação de barreiras que existem nos espaços dificultando a autonomia e a segurança comprometendo, assim, a qualidade de vida destas pessoas e a experiência. Dessa forma, o principal objetivo deste estudo é compreender como as pessoas com deficiência estão inseridas nos espaços e as premissas do turismo acessível de forma teórico conceitual cuja metodologia envolve pesquisa bibliográfica. Espera-se com este estudo levar algumas informações acerca das temáticas aqui apresentadas e também conscientizar e sensibilizar as pessoas sobre a importância do processo de consolidação das práticas inclusivas no turismo.
