Dirección de empresas de turismo comunitario: oportunidades para la comercialización en zonas rurales

Abstract

En este artículo se dan algunas indicaciones a la dirección de empresas de turismo comunitario de cara a desarrollar y comercializar sus productos en zonas rurales. En base a la literatura científica existente sobre la temática se enuncian algunas proposiciones teóricas para que las comunidades, las organizaciones de gestión del destino y los propios profesionales del sector tengan un marco que les facilite la toma de decisiones. El presente artículo propone como espacio geográfico para la comercialización del turismo comunitario las zonas rurales de Tenerife, España. No obstante, las proposiciones enunciadas pueden ser tenidas en cuenta para la dirección de empresas de turismo comunitario y la comercialización de este producto en otras zonas.
