Proyección del turismo sostenible en el caribe colombiano

Abstract

En la actualidad el turismo es una de las actividades más importantes y en plena expansión de la economía mundial, concibiéndose esta como de vital importancia para el desarrollo económico en todos los niveles. El turismo sostenible es una actividad que busca mejorar y potenciar el nivel de vida de las personas y como industria trata de tener un bajo impacto sobre el medio ambiente y las culturas locales, mientras que ayuda a generar ingresos, empleo y a la conservación de los ecosistemas locales, trata de ser responsable en lo ecológico y lo cultural. El presente artículo busca analizar el proceso de proyección, de impulso, de visión, para mejorar la oferta turística que ofrece la costa Caribe colombiana tanto a los turistas extranjeros como a los nacionales, alrededor de cinco estrategias: turismo cultural, turismo náutico, turismo ecológico, turismo de promoción y comercialización y la formación del recurso humano
