Análisis del bienestar multidimensional de las regiones de México y de los hogares que se dedican al turismo

Abstract

Las múltiples dimensiones del bienestar, dan la pauta para medirlo de una manera diferente a la acostumbrada, por medio del método líneas de bienestar; en este contexto, y dado que se ha planteado la necesidad de trascender hacia indicadores que provean una visión sobre el progreso social, donde la concepción del bienestar se vincule a la del desarrollo; el propósito de la investigación radica en medir para el año 2012, según estrato urbano y rural, el bienestar multidimensional de las regiones de México, y en lo específico de los hogares que en México viven del turismo. Para ello, se parte de la metodología de Alkire y Foster, los datos se obtuvieron de la Encuesta Nacional de Ingresos y Gastos de los Hogares (ENIGH), cuyo procesamiento se efectuó mediante el sistema estadístico Stata SE 2012. La regionalización utilizada fue desarrollada por Propín y Sánchez. Los resultados multidimensional denotan que la población nacional urbana evidencia el mayor porcentaje de personas con bienestar, pese a ello, la población turística rural, cuantifica niveles de bienestar más altos que los mostrados por la población nacional en lo rural.
