Diseño de una propuesta de marca territorial para la ciudad de Loja como estrategia turística

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo diseñar una propuesta para la creación de una marca territorial para la ciudad de Loja, con la finalidad de promocionar las cualidades que caracterizan a esta ciudad desde lo turístico y cultural. Para conocer la necesidad de la creación de la marca, se aplicó una encuesta a los ciudadanos lojanos sobre el conocimiento de lo que significa contar con una marca ciudad y los beneficios que conlleva, así como los atributos que posee el territorio. Los resultados muestran que solo hay un conocimiento sobre tipos de publicidades de identificación de la ciudad, lo que lleva a la conclusión que es imperante la creación de una marca ciudad para Loja como una estrategia de comunicación que refleje la identidad cultural de su ciudad.
