Abstract

Este artículo aborda el tema del turismo LGBTTTI como actividad económica y motor del desarrollo. Reflexiona sobre la inclusión creciente de la sexualidad y el género en el desarrollo y en la política pública. Analiza la importancia de esta inclusión, pero también en sus limitaciones, desde la perspectiva de la teoría queer. Analiza de manera específica algunos documentos jurídicos y de política pública de México, para evidenciar la necesidad de que incorporen una concepción más amplia de la diversidad sexual y de género que favorezca este tipo de turismo.
