Abstract

Desde que comenzó la globalización las empresas turísticas han llevado a cabo un proceso de internacionalización utilizando diferentes fórmulas, incluyendo la expansión y la integración horizontal y vertical, además de la adopción del e-business. Este artículo constituye una revisión de los modelos explicativos de dicho proceso, así como de las estrategias de internacionalización y de entrada que las empresas turísticas pueden adoptar, una vez determinado los objetivos y analizados los factores internos y externos.
