Dirigir La Empresa Turã Stica En Funciã“N Del Modelo De Desarrollo Del Destino. Percepciones De Los Futuros Profesionales Del Sector

Abstract

Desde que se publicó el modelo de desarrollo del ciclo de vida del destino turístico se han elaborado algunas teorías y modelos complementarios. Dichas teorías y modelos son de utilidad para comprender la fase del ciclo en la que se encuentra un destino turístico, y por tanto poder asumir las correspondientes medidas, o dotar de contenido a las actuaciones que los diferentes agentes turísticos llevan a cabo para conseguir un desarrollo turístico más responsable y sostenible. Utilizando una muestra de 252 futuros profesionales del sector turístico se ha llevado a cabo una investigación para conocer las ideas que tienen sobre la gestión de la empresa turística en relación al desarrollo turístico de su propio destino de residencia. Los resultados ponen de manifiesto que los futuros profesionales tienen ideas claras de las actuaciones que podrían llevarse a cabo, existiendo algunas diferencias significativas por razones de sexo en las respuestas de los jóvenes.
