O Mercado De Viagens No Brasil E A Influãšncia Da Internet: As Agãšncias Tradicionais E Agãšncias Online

Abstract

O artigo tem como objetivo discorrer sobre a participação da Internet e das OTAs no mercado de viagens brasileiro atual e sua relação com as agências de turismo tradicionais. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental entre o período de fevereiro a julho de 2015. Os resultados afirmaram que a Internet mudou a forma como as pessoas consomem o turismo e adquirem viagens e as OTAs são um dos resultados deste novo panorama. Elas vêm apresentando um grande crescimento no Brasil e muitas vezes têm concorrido com as agências de turismo tradicionais que, para competir com as OTAs, devem utilizar a Internet a seu favor, oferecer consultoria de viagens e personalização de serviços, além de enfatizar a figura do agente de viagens.
