Transportes Recretivos E Desenvolvimento Local: A Atividade Buggy-Turismo Na Praia De Cumbuco, Municã Pio De Caucaia, Ce

Abstract

O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a atividade buggy-turismo na praia de Cumbuco, município de Caucaia, Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza, CE, visando conhecer a atividade e entender como ela contribui para o desenvolvimento local. Para a execução da pesquisa, realizou-se análise documental, revisão bibliográfica e empreendeu-se trabalhos de campo, nos quais se fez entrevistas, fotografias e aplicação de questionários para traçar o perfil socioeconômico dos profissionais conhecidos como bugueiros. A partir dos dados coletados, foi possível observar a importância dos transportes na dinâmica recreativa do turismo, descreveu-se a área estudada e percebeu-se que do universo de bugueiros autorizados a realizar o passeio de buggy na praia de Cumbuco, 98% são do sexo masculino; 30% não completaram o ensino fundamental; 54% nasceram no município de Caucaia; 56% residem na praia de Cumbuco; 66% são casados; e 14% trabalham há mais de vinte anos na atividade.
