Abstract

O desenvolvimento do potencial turístico das cidades a cada dia ganha mais importância no cenário mundial, devido a sua capacidade de atrair recursos e proporcionar o desenvolvimento econômico e social das localidades que exploram as suas belezas naturais, arquitetônicas, culturais ou então as que criam elementos que propiciam o lazer e o divertimento. Sendo assim, este trabalho tem como intenção analisar as possibilidades de desenvolvimento turístico e local a partir de um planejamento estratégico, utilizando-se das questões a cerca das tradições regionais, locais e culturais do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul e também a viabilidade da criação de um parque temático na Cidade de Bagé.
