Implantaciã“N Del Modelo De Gestiã“N Socialmente Responsable En La Empresa Hotelera

Abstract

En consonancia con una sociedad del siglo XXI cada vez más globalizada, las partes interesadas muestran una exigencia progresiva de iniciativas empresariales que permitan que la rentabilidad del sector turístico se mida, cada día más, con criterios de sostenibilidad y bajo una triple cuenta de resultados: la económica, la social y la medioambiental. Además, en la actualidad, va en aumento el número de empresas que consideran la importancia de la responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) y que han tomado consciencia de que su contribución al desarrollo sostenible favorecerá el crecimiento económico y aumentará su competitividad. De este modo el interés por la integración de la RSE en los procesos de dirección y gestión de las empresas turísticas en general y de las hoteleras en particular es, cada vez más, uno de los grandes desafíos a los que se enfrentan dichas organizacionales empresariales. Por ello, utilizando la metodología de estudio de casos múltiples, mostramos las principales implicaciones y cambios a los que se han enfrentado reputadas empresas hoteleras españolas que han tomado la decisión de seguir un modelo de gestión socialmente responsable.
