Abstract

El presente artículo se propone reflejar sobre la influencia que la internet tiene en la producción de los espacios turísticos. A partir de revisión de literatura sobre la teoría del valor, globalización y el papel de las nuevas tecnologías, se llega a la conclusión de que la internet es un importante elemento en la producción de los espacios turísticos en la medida en que veicula imágenes, sea a través de las webs oficiales de turismo, sea por medio de las Redes Sociales. Por medios de las imágenes veiculadas, la internet condiciona el tipo de turista que visita el destino, así como las formas espaciales y los servicios en él contenidos.
