¿Es La Filosofã A Una Disciplina Adecuada Para Estudiar El Turismo? (Y 2)

Abstract

La crisis de la llamada gran filosofía y la de loa grandes filósofos con ella a mediados del siglo XX abrió las puertas a los pensadores para dedicarse al ensayo, a la literatura con mensaje y al columnismo periodístico de altura. Los sociólogos les acompañaron en este nuevo campo de lo que se ha llamado crítica del modelo de sociedad que se implantó con el american way of live, una de cuyas características es el consumismo como pilar de la producción masiva y del desarrollismo a ultranza. El turismo es una realidad que forma parte del modelo y por ello muchos jurisperitos titulados en filosofía han decidido cultivar lo que podríamos llamar filosofía del turismo. Esta nueva y pujante corriente es objeto de crítica en este artículo.
