Anã Lisis De La Potencialidad De Monte Hermoso Para Lograr El Desarrollo Local A Partir De Bienes Culturales

Abstract

Desde los años 80, se evidencia un cambio de paradigma en la teoría del desarrollo económico a partir del nacimiento de la teoría del desarrollo endógeno. Desde el inicio de esta corriente del desarrollo, se propone una revalorización de la economía local que permita potenciar las características singulares del patrimonio natural y cultural que la diferencian del resto de las ciudades. Además, resulta importante la transformación de los actores locales en agentes de desarrollo, entendiendo por tales a individuos e instituciones capaces de desarrollar y gestionar propuestas que permitan capitalizar las potencialidades locales. El área de estudio comprende la localidad de Monte Hermoso, perteneciente al corredor turístico de la Costa Bonaerense – Argentina. En función de sus características poblacionales y las actividades económicas que desarrolla, la ciudad podría formar parte de aquellas que han logrado identificar sus potencialidades y esbozado una estrategia de desarrollo sostenido a partir de sus bienes culturales.
