Abstract

La gran mayoría de las ciudades mexicanas están próximas a tierras ejidales. La naturaleza de estas tierras previas a la reforma constitucional del artículo 27 era de inalienables por lo cual ponía en riesgo la continuidad física de las ciudades. A partir de las reformas se dieron las condiciones legales para que dichas tierras se incorporaran al desarrollo urbano y el crecimiento de las ciudades se diera de manera más armónica y planificada. Este trabajo tiene como propósito dar a conocer la participación del ejido Cabo San Lucas en el abastecimiento de suelo para los asentamientos en la ciudad turística del mismo nombre.
