Bahía Blanca (Provincia De Buenos Aires, Argentina) Como Puerto De Escala De Cruceros Turísticos

Abstract

El crucerismo constituye actualmente el segmento turístico de mayor crecimiento. Dada su popularidad, las compañías de cruceros han buscado constantemente alternativas a los productos masivos, que les permitan diferenciar su oferta. De esta manera, han surgido nuevas rutas y regiones, entre las cuales se encuentra Sudamérica, liderada por Brasil y Argentina. El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar las potencialidades de la localidad argentina de Bahía Blanca como puerto de escala de cruceros, justificando su factibilidad a partir de las características portuarias y la oferta regional de atractivos. Además, se presentan las particularidades del turismo de cruceros y su situación global actual. Para realizar esta investigación se revisó literatura temática y también datos estadísticos, ambos provenientes de diversas fuentes, incluyendo entrevistas a informantes clave públicos y privados. La hipótesis puede precisarse en los siguientes términos: el complejo portuario de Bahía Blanca se presenta como una alternativa de escala para cruceros turísticos dada su condición natural e infraestructura y la oferta turística de su región.
