La Seguridad En La Planificación Turística De Galicia

Abstract

Los impactos potenciales que pueden afectar al turismo se han incrementado en los últimos años. Una crisis es un suceso inesperado que influye en la confianza del visitante en un destino y afecta a la capacidad de seguir funcionando con normalidad. La gestión de crisis es necesaria para mantener esta confianza. La seguridad se ha convertido en un indicador más de competitividad y está cobrando importancia en la elección del destino pasando a ser una de las variables decisivas. Por estos motivos Galicia debería explotar su imagen de destino seguro como uno de sus principales atributos. Este estudio se ha llevado a cabo mediante entrevistas en profundidad con diversos expertos en distintos sectores en A Coruña y Santiago y demuestra que la seguridad es un recurso poco desarrollado en la planificación turística.
