La Planificación Y Gestión Turística De Cuzco Y Machu Picchu: Una Aproximación Desde El Destino Arqueológico Considerando La Relación Con Sus Principales Recursos

Abstract

El destino turístico generado en torno a la ciudad de Cuzco se basa principalmente en la visita a sus recursos arqueológicos y se ha transformado en un destino arqueológico de referencia a escala mundial. En torno a este destino se presentan dos niveles de gestión básicos: el relacionado con el destino y el relacionado con los propios recursos turísticos arqueológicos. El presente artículo profundiza en el análisis del modelo de planificación, gestión, puesta en valor y desarrollo del destino y de sus recursos arqueológicos así como en los procedimientos formales de coordinación entre los responsables de la gestión de ambos.
