El Turismo Religioso En Los Altos De Jalisco, México, Como Alternativa Para Su Desarrollo: Un Análisis Foda

Abstract

Existe a nivel mundial un agotamiento de los destinos turísticos convencionales de sol y playa, que favorece que diversos puntos del interior a crear nuevas ofertas turísticas como una alternativa para el desarrollo de sus economías locales. En Los Altos de Jalisco, región ubicada en el occidente de México, se encuentra ubicado el segundo santuario más visitado de México y Latinoamérica, lo que lo convierte en un lugar ideal para emplear el turismo religioso que genera, como una alternativa para el desarrollo de sus poblaciones. En esta investigación se hace un análisis de las fuerzas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, para determinar las directrices que deben emplearse al implementar las estrategias para el desarrollo de este proyecto.
