La Gestión De La Demanda Turística Como Concepto

Abstract

El mundo empresarial evoluciona de forma acelerada y con él las ciencias que se encargan del estudio de su desarrollo y genera en su crecimiento gran variedad de términos y definiciones; en ocasiones surgen términos para los cuales no quedan claro su alcance y diferencia con respecto a otros semejantes como es el caso de los términos gestión, dirección y administración, el asunto resulta más polémico cuando alguno de estos términos forma parte un concepto mayor como es el caso del de gestión de la demanda turística por ello en este artículo se profundiza en los términos: gestión y demanda turística así como los vínculos existentes entre ellos para posteriormente y tomando como referencia este análisis desarrollar un modelo donde se representen las principales variables a considerar en la gestión de la demanda turística con vistas facilitar el propio proceso de gestión de la demanda turística. Lo antes descrito se representa a través de la Figura 1.
