Abstract

Cumplida la primera década del s. XXI la movilidad internacional de personas se presume compleja y de gran sofisticación, ya sea por el tipo de desplazamiento, sus motivos, el medio de transporte utilizado, el presupuesto disponible o el perfil concreto de viajero del que se trata. Ello nos lleva a pensar que la industria de los viajes se encuentra en un proceso constante de evolución, sometida a fuerzas externas que escapan en mayor o menor medida a su control y a las que se tiene que adaptar (Ávila Bercial y Barrado Timón, 2005).
