La Demanda De Turismo Rural. Un Análisis Para El Norte De Marruecos

Abstract

El turista europeo demanda cada vez destinos más exóticos; la cercanía a Europa convierte a Marruecos en un destino cada vez más atractivo para este mercado. El sector turístico ha sido objeto de grandes transformaciones a lo largo de la pasada década orientada al refuerzo de la capacidad hotelera, la formación profesional y la promoción exterior que ha dado sus frutos. Este plan se ha centrado en turismo de grandes ciudades (Casablanca, Rabat, Marraquech, Fez) y de playa. Sin embargo el turismo de interior en las zonas rurales ha sido poco atendido hasta ahora. Aún así, existen áreas de interior en el norte de Marruecos donde se ha desarrollado una oferta turística muy interesante, con gran potencial. Este turismo se está convirtiendo en un elemento dinamizador de las economías locales, algo esencial para el desarrollo territorios rurales y la mejora de la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Esta investigación trata de analizar el comportamiento de la demanda turística en la provincia de Chefchaouen, región Tánger Tetuán.
