Vinculación Escuela-Empresa: Un Reto A La Formación Continua En El Turismo

Abstract

El desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en inglés ha sido ocupación constante de lingüistas y profesores. Para potenciar la competencia profesional requiere de nuevas aristas inherentes a la función social específica. Este artículo tiene el objetivo de contribuir a la formación y desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa profesional en inglés del animador turístico en su formación continua mediante el fortalecimiento de la vinculación escuela-empresa. Uno de los instrumentos elaborados con ese fin es la carta metodológica dirigida a gerentes hoteleros, directivos de la Escuela de Hotelería y Turismo (EHT), jefes de actividades recreativas en los hoteles, profesores / entrenadores de idioma inglés y animadores en ejercicio. Los principales métodos y técnicas utilizados fueron la observación, entrevistas, despachos, inducción-deducción y análisis documental. También se utilizaron los talleres de socialización durante la elaboración y la puesta en práctica de las indicaciones contentivas en la carta metodológica. En conclusión, la carta cumplió el objetivo orientador a trabajadores y profesores, tanto de la EHT como de los hoteles de Cayo Largo en la concertación de actividades conjuntas para que de manera objetiva y sistemática se pudieran determinar las necesidades de aprendizaje de los animadores turísticos y el consecuente plan de capacitación y superación para la formación y desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en inglés.
