Globalización-Comunicación En El Sector Del Turismo: Un Problema Social A Resolver

Abstract

El reto que constituye la capacitación se complejiza en un mundo globalizado donde la actualización permanente de los recursos humanos significa ser competitivos en el sector del turismo. Para que este sector pueda cumplir su encargo social y ser realmente la locomotora de la economía cubana, sus instituciones –en este caso Formatur y las Escuelas de Hotelería y Turismo- forman y capacitan a sus recursos humanos teniendo en cuenta lo más avanzado de la ciencia y la técnica. Este artículo aborda la capacitación en lo referente al aprendizaje de idiomas extranjeros, específicamente el aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera y parte del proceso de formación y capacitación de los recursos humanos del turismo. Para ello el autor se basa en los fundamentos filosóficos, pedagógicos, psicológicos y de la didáctica especial de la enseñanza de las lenguas extranjeras para analizar desde estos presupuestos teóricos, el modelo que debe caracterizar los perfiles de un trabajador del turismo y su consecuente estrategia pedagógica que conjunto a la empresa, la escuela debe propiciar para un dominio adecuado de lenguas extranjeras.
