Abstract

En esta última década, las cadenas hoteleras más importantes y otros alojamientos turís-ticos independientes están procediendo a la remodelación de sus estructuras, realizando cambios tendentes a ofrecer productos/servicios de mayor versatilidad, mayor acerca-miento al cliente -para procurarle mayor satisfacción de acuerdo con sus necesidades y expectativas-, así como la mejora en la formación de sus empleados. La realidad es que en la mayoría de los casos no se hace sino “pintar la fachada”, dado que no se profundiza o no se acomete la verdadera reforma que necesitan las organizaciones .
