Abstract

La Auditoría Medioambiental es un marco autorregulado preventivo del medio ambiente, que ha venido utilizándose en las empresas, principalmente, a partir de las últimas décadas del siglo pasado, cuando surgió en Estados Unidos como consecuencia del aumento de la presión legislativa y de las consiguientes sanciones asociadas. No obstante en Cuba, todavía es un concepto muy reciente, que está empezando a aparecer en las empresas.
