Abstract

El turismo en la actualidad se ha consolidado como una actividad muy importante a nivel mundial; lo mismo ocurre a nivel local ya que en la economía sudcaliforniana es la actividad con mayor crecimiento. Específicamente el ecoturismo (aquel que visita áreas naturales), ha tenido un creciente interés en México y en el mundo ya que promete conservar los recursos naturales, permite su disfrute, genera empleos permanentes y derrama hacia las economías locales, es de esta forma como el ecoturismo se ha constituido en un subsector que genera empleos y divisas, ofreciendo una variedad de actividades que atrae a un número cada vez mayor de turistas
