Abstract

En el presente trabajo se recogen las principales características de las Agencias de Viajes con el propósito de que sirvan de material de estudio a aquellas personas que comienzan a trabajar dichas empresas y no disponen de bibliografía inicial para adentrarse en esa interesante y compleja parte del mundo turístico, se responden preguntas como: ¿Qué es una Agencia de Viajes?; ¿Cómo surgen?; ¿Cuáles son sus funciones principales?; ¿cómo se clasifican? y ¿cómo se organizan?; entre otras, son interrogantes que quedarán respondidas a lo largo de este trabajo.
