Procedimiento Para Realizar Auditorías De Información En Instalaciones Hoteleras

Abstract

La actividad turística ha irrumpido como un objeto de investigación complejo, siendo estudiada como actividad económica, como fenómeno sociológico y, como un tipo específico de gerencia, pero el aspecto informativo es el menos estudiado. En este sentido en la presente investigación se diseña y propone un Procedimiento para realizar Auditorías de Información en instalaciones hoteleras, hasta ahora sin precedentes en el sector del turismo, realizado sobre la base del análisis de las metodologías más representativas existentes, que permita diagnosticar el estado de la gestión de información en este tipo de instalación, y proponer las acciones para su mejora. El Procedimiento será aplicado por un equipo de trabajo multidisciplinario y consta de 5 etapas (Preparación y planeación de la Auditoría de Información; Caracterización de la organización; Ejecución de la Auditoría; Documentación e informe final; Seguimiento y control de las acciones propuestas). También se propone un instrumento con las variables y los indicadores que se medirán dentro del proceso. La pertinencia del procedimiento propuesto quedó evidenciada luego de ser sometido al criterio de expertos quienes lo catalogaron como Muy Adecuado.
