Cultura Turística En El Puerto De Veracruz

Abstract

El turismo es una actividad muy importante en el desarrollo de los países de ahí que en este estudio se describe como, dentro de la cultura de la sociedad, existe una parte orientada al conocimiento y a la valoración de la actividad turística, misma que denominamos “cultura turística”, y es ésta la que busca la satisfacción del visitante --turista-- y la obtención del mayor beneficio para las comunidades receptoras --destino turístico--. Es por ello que el estudio llevado a cabo por la Universidad Cristóbal Colón, tuvo como finalidad establecer un diagnóstico acerca del nivel de percepción sobre el conocimiento en materia de cultura turística, que prevalece en la actualidad en niños de nivel primaria del puerto del Veracruz, durante un ciclo escolar 2007-2008. Para ello, fueron aplicados 338 encuestas, a los niños de primaria en el municipio de Veracruz, durante el ciclo escolar agosto del 2007 a junio del 2008. Para probar las seis hipótesis se aplicaron procedimientos estadísticos como la distribución binomial, la prueba de Kolmorogov-Smirnof, la correlación canónica y la regresión múltiple. Se probaron estadísticamente cuatro de las seis hipótesis de trabajo planteadas, pudiéndose conocer el grado de conocimiento que sobre patrimonio y cultura turística tienen los niños, como se les ha dado a conocer y cuáles son los principales actores sociales que han influido más en su formación.
