Consideraciones Sobre El Diseño Y Aplicación De Un Procedimiento Para Elaborar El Plan De Negocios Del Área De Alojamiento En Pequeños Hoteles De Transito En Cuba

Abstract

La Gestión de Alojamiento comprende, estructural y funcionalmente, todos los servicios de recepción, atención durante la estancia y despedida del turista en un establecimiento o instalación de alojamiento turístico. (Catal, 1982) A través de dichos servicios, es ejecutada la mayor parte de las operaciones vinculadas a la permanencia de un cliente, resultando significativa la prioridad que estos poseen con relación a otros servicios hoteleros. En este sentido es preciso establecer un enfoque y/o mecanismo de gestión, que asegure de forma consciente y estable, altos niveles de calidad en la gestión de alojamiento en los establecimientos hoteleros en correspondencia con los valores y principios que conforman la cultura organizacional. La celeridad de los cambios y la falta de respuesta de muchos establecimientos hoteleros para adaptarse a estas transformaciones han provocado que cada vez más se requieran nuevas herramientas de gestión. Aspectos como, entender mejor su producto o servicio, determinar cuales son sus metas y objetivos, anticipar posibles problemas y fallas, clarificar de dónde vendrán sus recursos financieros, tener parámetros para medir el crecimiento de la empresa hotelera y la existencia de estrategias técnicamente fundamentadas exige una gran agilidad y flexibilidad a la hora de tomar decisiones.
