Abstract

Tanto a nivel internacional como en Cuba, se han venido dando pasos firmes en la implantación de la gestión por proceso como alternativa para proporcionar soluciones económicas derivadas de una mayor eficiencia y productividad, pero hasta el momento solo se han diseñado herramientas que llegan a la organización de los procesos. Sin embargo, su vinculo con la dirección no ha quedado explicito, hasta el punto que los directivos no asocian este enfoque con su actividad, y esto queda demostrado cuando se analizan las estructuras organizativas de las empresas observándose la ausencia del enfoque de procesos de la organización, lo que lleva a que no exista coherencia entre " la forma en que se trabaja" y " la forma en que se dirige", (Lujan, 2007).
