A Importância Da Gastronomia Como Patrimônio Cultural, No Turismo Baiano

Abstract

O turismo é uma atividade, que pode impulsionar o desenvolvimento de uma localidade, e foi conceituado de formas diferentes ao longo dos anos. Todas elas, porém, levam o intérprete a um mesmo ponto, entendendo que o turismo é o deslocamento de pessoas num determinado tempo a uma determinada localidade, motivados por diversos fatores. Neste artigo entende-se turismo conforme a Organização Mundial de Turismo – OMT, 2001, onde compreende as atividades desenvolvidas por pessoas, ao longo de viagens e estadas, em locais situados fora do seu enquadramento habitual, por um período consecutivo que não ultrapasse um ano, para fins recreativos, de negócios entre outros.
