Abstract

El turismo sostenible y la biodiversidad, es el resultado de una investigación realizada en el marco de un macroproyecto de producción limpia, desarrollado en la Unitropico, Yopal- Colombia. El turismo es uno de los renglones de la economía regional, que en los últimos años ha estado al orden del día de las políticas públicas departamentales, dado la gran variedad de recursos hídricos, fauna y flora con que cuenta el Departamento de Casanare, como parte de la Orinoquia Colombiana. El turismo como tal es un fenómeno socio-económico que ha ido tomando fuerza en el mundo. A nivel regional, la biodiversidad de la Orinoquia permite disfrutar de grandes paisajes naturales, que hacen de la región un atractivo turístico para propios y extraños.
