Relevancia Y Problemática De Enseñanza De La Ciencia En Educación Básica

Abstract

La enseñanza de las Ciencias Naturales en educación primaria es fundamental para que los futuros profesionistas de la sociedad desarrollen habilidades como la observación, la curiosidad y resolución de problemas. Aun cuando la ciencia que se enseña en la escuela primaria no es una ciencia de científicos difícil de comprender, es más bien una ciencia escolar, la cual introducirá a los niños al gusto de interesarse por la comprensión de fenómenos naturales que ocurren a su alrededor. En este trabajó se documentó algunas de las causas de la exclusión de la asignatura de ciencias naturales, entre las que destacan, la falta de tiempo, de conocimientos por parte de los docentes, la irresponsabilidad de los alumnos con los materiales para realizar experimentos, entre otros. Por otro lado, la enseñanza de Ciencias Naturales tiene un impacto positivo cuando se abordan temas como biología, ecología y biodiversidad ya que despiertan el interés y la participación de los educandos.
