El proceso B-Learning en simulación incrementa el nivel de desempeño académico del estudiante de ingeniería

Abstract

El proceso B-learning es una modalidad de aprendizaje mixta implementada en la carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales del Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), campus Ciudad Valles, en la asignatura de Simulación del plan de estudios ©TecNM mayo de 2016 en la plataforma Moodle. Esta modalidad consiste en clases presenciales en aula o laboratorio y en la solución de estrategias de aprendizaje en Moodle por parte de los estudiantes. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación se ha diseñado el curso de Simulación en Moodle con las estrategias de enseñanza y de aprendizaje de cada una de las unidades temáticas de la asignatura; diseñadas acorde a la competencia específica a alcanzar. La metodología de la investigación es mixta, analiza las variables cuantitativas y las categóricas ordinales o cualitativas. Se utilizan los grupos ISI55A e ISI55B como cursos de modalidad B-learning e ISI55C como curso de modalidad presencial. Los niveles de desempeño académico se establecen en el reglamento de acreditación académica, y se definen por Excelente, Notable, Bueno, Suficiente e Insuficiente. Se aplica la técnica estadística de U de Mann-Whitney en el software SPSS para mostrar el incremento del nivel de desempeño académico al utilizar la modalidad B-learning en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de Simulación.
