Familias: salvadoras o verdugos

Abstract

El propósito de este artículo es observar el papel de la familia en la actualidad de forma integral. Mostrar como la familia puede ser parte de la felicidad y del desarrollo personal individual y colectivo, y también puede formar parte de las relaciones violentas y destructivas de la persona y de la institución. Para alcanzar dicho objetivo se revisa una selección de datos cuantitativos oficiales para el caso de México en los últimos años. Como resultado se comprueba que efectivamente la familia puede ser una institución salvadora de sus integrantes, y también puede ser un verdugo para sus miembros.
