Sociedad civil en México: evolución y posicionamiento durante el periodo del año 2000 al 2018

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza la relación entre la sociedad civil y el gobierno mexicano durante el período del año 2000 al 2018 a partir de la primera alternancia política en el gobierno federal. Se busca identificar si se rompe o no la inercia histórica de otorgar poca o nula importancia a la sociedad civil, sus organizaciones y la ciudadanía en general. Se destaca la resistencia de los gobiernos de alternancia para aceptar a la sociedad civil como el nuevo actor fundamental del proceso de democratización y de los asuntos públicos. Se describe la relación de los gobiernos panistas (2000-2012) con la sociedad civil y sus organizaciones. Se hace referencia al gobierno priísta (2012-2018) sobre la falta de comunicación y sensibilidad para coordinarse e interactuar con una sociedad abierta que se manifiesta cada vez con mayor dinamismo y efectividad, reposicionándose en el contexto político, social y económico actual.
