El uso de las TIC, TAC, TEP, para desarrollar competencias empresariales y comunicativas en los estudiantes universitarios

Abstract

Este siglo XXI presenta nuevos retos para las universidades en el ámbito pedagógico ante un nuevo perfil de alumnas y alumnos, pues pertenecen a una nueva generación conocida como “nativos digitales”, siendo ello resultado de una sociedad cada día más tecnificada. Por lo tanto el modelo educativo de cualquier universidad debe adaptarse a la sociedad de la información. Ante estos desafíos se precisan implementar diferentes herramientas educativas que permitan aprovechar las ventajas didácticas de la Web 2.0. Las tecnologías de información y comunicación, (TIC); Tecnologías del Aprendizaje y del Conocimiento, (TAC); y las Tecnologías para el Empoderamiento y la Participación, (TEP), son herramientas que en la actualidad se deben utilizar, pues permiten a los estudiantes desarrollar competencias que les permitan resolver diversas problemáticas, e inclusive incursionar en el campo de la investigación de una manera científica, mejorando su pensamiento crítico.
