La estrategia de localización de actividades de I+D de Audi. Un referente para el caso de San José Chiapa, Puebla México

Abstract

La localización de actividades de I+D no siempre se lleva a cabo en el lugar donde se sitúan las plantas de producción de las empresas automotrices, en la mayoría de los casos dichas actividades se centran en el país de la casa matriz de la firma. En 2016, la empresa de autos de lujo Audi iniciará operaciones productivas en Puebla, México, así, el gobierno mexicano ha destinado recursos económicos para colaborar con el desarrollo tecnológico de dicha empresa. Respecto a esto cabe la pregunta ¿también se trasladarán actividades de I+D de la firma? En esa dirección, el trabajo analiza la estrategias de Audi en términos de localización de actividades de I+D, enfocándose en los criterios sobre los cuales realiza sus actividades de I+D en un contexto de actividades globales de producción.
