La trata de mujeres con fines de explotación sexual como expresión de violencia en el capitalismo patriarcal

Abstract

La trata de mujeres con fines de explotación sexual, es un problema que ha cobrado magnitud mundial y que genera enormes ganancias para las redes que la llevan a cabo. Inscrita como una actividad ilícita, esta ha servido en gran medida para abastecer a la industria sexual al cobijo de la prostitución. Por tal razón, es necesario poner en claro que hablar de ésta y de trata, son dos dimensiones de un problema que converge en el mismo punto: violencia en contra de las mujeres mediante el uso de sus cuerpos. Haciendo énfasis en la trata, planteamos la serie de condiciones estructurales que subyacen a este fenómeno, las cuales se sustentan en dos ejes fundamentales: el capitalismo en su fase neoliberal mediante la acumulación por desposesión y, el orden patriarcal; que en interacción, han logrado la emergencia de un contexto que posibilita la explotación sexual de las mujeres.
