Revisión de la MIA del libramiento norte de la Ciudad de Puebla, México: un ejemplo de injusticia ambiental y manipulación informativa

Abstract

Presentamos una revisión de la Manifestación de Impacto Ambiental (MIA) para el proyecto del Libramiento Norte de la Ciudad de Puebla, México. Esta MIA fue presentada por una empresa privada y fue aprobada por el gobierno. El proyecto no contó con el apoyo popular y se creó un conflicto social que ha durado años y ha generado la existencia de miles de afectados ambientales. Debido a las irregularidades del caso que incluyen ilegalidad por parte del gobierno del Estado de Puebla, el proyecto no se ha realizado y la gente afectada así como sus colaboradores se han visto sujetos a problemas muy serios. La presente revisión consiste en señalar una serie de deficiencias que la MIA tiene sin que esto haya implicado una limitante para que el gobierno le diera su aprobación y, violando la ley pretendiera ejecutar el proyecto dentro de una situación de injusticia ambiental y corrupción.
