Abstract

En la sección introductoria de su trabajo, Lomnitz intenta plantear el problema definiendo su objeto de estudio; en este caso la marginalidad y la relación de ésta con la migración y el sistema de reciprocidad. Más específicamente, para la autora el patrón de asentamiento y el ocupacional configuran redes de solidaridad específicas. Si bien la marginalidad, debe ser definida según parámetros económicos estructurales, Lomnitz sugiere la hipótesis de una falta de vinculación al sistema vigente.
