Abstract

este trabajo analiza el reglamento (ce) nº 1927/2006 del Parlamento europeo y del consejo, de 20 de diciembre de 2006, por el que se crea el fondo europeo de adaptación a la globalización (feag), mediante el cual la comunidad ofrecerá solidaridad y apoyo a trabajadores despedidos como consecuencia de los cambios estructurales en los patrones del comercio mundial vinculados al actual proceso de globalización económica. el feag es accesible a todos los estados miembros y cuenta con una dotación anual máxima de 500 millones de euros para facilitar la reinserción laboral de entre 35.000 y 50.000 trabajadores en toda la Unión europea. el feag podría contribuir a un modelo social europeo basado en la noción de “flexiguridad”.
