Plan estratégico para el desarrollo del turismo comunitario en localidades pesqueras en Sinaloa. Caso: Las Arenitas, Culiacán, Sinaloa, México

Abstract

El turismo tiene un gran y creciente impacto tanto en los pueblos como en la naturaleza, de acuerdo al Instituto Nacional de Geografía y Estadística (2019), en México este sector aportó en 2017, 8.7 de cada 100 pesos producidos por la economía nacional. Existen varios tipos de turismo; interesa definir el comunitario, que se identifica como el viaje responsable a zonas naturales que conserva el ambiente y sustenta el bienestar de la población local (Sociedad Internacional de Ecoturismo). En Sinaloa existen localidades pesqueras con alto potencial turístico, en ellas se identifican organizaciones como lo son las cooperativas pesqueras, no obstante, éstas no cuentan con capacidades de gestión para identificar fortalezas y oportunidades para innovar y combinar la pesca con el turismo, incluso, para aspirar a formar una cooperativa de esa naturaleza, para ir más allá, asumiendo el rol de empresarios promotores con capacidad de diversificar sus actividades y ser más competitivos, con la finalidad de satisfacer sus necesidades básicas.
