La creación de Laboratorios Científicos Productivos, una mirada a emprendimientos cubanos

Abstract

La Universidad de Holguín (UHo), como partícipe en el desarrollo local y nacional, tiene un papel protagónico en el quehacer científico del territorio, lo que se evidencia en los resultados científicos que en ella se obtienen, sin embargo aún es insuficiente su papel emprendedor e innovador y debe fortalecer su quehacer en el plano productivo. Es por ello, que se presenta la propuesta de creación de un Laboratorio Científico Productivo, a partir de contar con el producto “CelCor, Protección electrónica por sobrecorriente†con su patente concedida. Se presenta una propuesta de carácter general, aplicable a todo resultado científico que requiera una serie cero para probar su efectividad antes de transferirse al tejido empresarial. Esta experiencia emprendedora realizada en la Universidad de Holguín, permite crear la infraestructura necesaria para producir a mediana escala las protecciones electrónicas por sobrecorriente, el desarrollo de nuevos prototipos, lograr niveles de ingresos y transferir el producto creado en la universidad a aquellas empresas del territorio que puedan hacer masiva su producción.
