Propuesta de ruteo de vehículos en la distribución física de la EMCOMED Holguín

Abstract

Uno de los sectores distintivos en Cuba es la salud, lo que se manifiesta en la calidad de vida del pueblo. En este ámbito, los medicamentos al igual que el personal médico, tienen un papel protagónico. En el territorio holguinero, la entidad a cargo de la comercialización y distribución de estos, manifiesta un conjunto de síntomas que atentan contra su adecuado desempeño, relacionados fundamentalmente con el proceso de distribución. Esta investigación se desarrolló en la Empresa Comercializadora y Distribuidora de Medicamentos (EMCOMED) de Holguín, y tuvo como objetivo general seleccionar y aplicar un procedimiento para la mejora de la función de transporte dentro de la distribución física en empresas comercializadoras, con énfasis en el diseño de rutas de distribución en la función de transporte, a partir de la aplicación de métodos matemáticos que garanticen altos niveles de eficiencia en el proceso.
